July 16, 2009 | Adam Sorensen | Leave a comment Online television is taking off. People are turning off their T.V.’s and turning on their computers more and more. This is partially driven to better Internet connection speeds, but mostly it is due to the availability of quality entertainment whenever you want it. You can find essentially every popular show posted online if you look hard enough, and you can watch them whenever you like. Websites like Hulu and Netflix have both capitalized on this new trend, and large companies like NBC and Comedy Central now post most of their shows on their website. Celebrities and individual T.V. shows are catching on too. They are now posting online videos of themselves. For instance, many T.V. shows have extra footage online. I believe American Idol, The Colbert Report, and Family Guy all do this. Online T.V. is really the next generation of entertainment.
