May 6, 2010 | Diane Johnson | Leave a comment As this map shows, there are few people living in the midwest and western united States and the highest concentration of Americans reside in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, and California. But more and more people are moving west. As cities grow so does the demand for educated workers. Infographic by Joe Lertola – View larger image In 2007, five of the fastest growing states were in the west including Texas, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, and Arizona. And most of these states are located in the west. Many people recognize the opportunities as well as the lifestyle that they can have if they relocate to these less populated areas and many people are doing just that.
