The University of Maryland's online college is just one example of the many schools that offer a flexible class schedule for adults. Last week, the college made it to the top of the list of the world's best online degree programs. Global Academy Online releases a list of the best and worst programs available to distance learners around the world each year. The University of Maryland's online college made it to the top 10 for its 100 undergraduate, graduate and certificate training programs. This is the fourth time in eight years that the school has made it into the list of the top 300 online colleges around the globe. "The University of Maryland's vision has continuously contributed to its growth and sustainability over the years as one of the premier providers of online higher education," said Fred DiUlus, the chief executive officer and publisher of Global Academy Online. The school currently offers more than 800 courses for students who wish to obtain their degrees online. Some Programs, such as those available at the University of Maryland, are helping more distance learners further their careers.
