Thunderbird School of Global Management recently unveiled a new curriculum that is designed to help individuals who are already employed in the business field to earn certificates in international negotiations, finance and marketing. The executive education programs begin every two months and each online class takes eight weeks to complete. These courses are designed to educate students in core global business concepts, skill sets and marketability while broadening their global mindsets. The school offers independent study programs consisting of self-paced, web-based and flexible classes that are designed for business managers and executives. School officials stated that students spend approximately three hours per week in the classroom. Participants are given online coursework in leadership, strategy, marketing, cross-cultural communication, finance and supply chain management, each of which are presented with a global mindset. Graduates with an MBA degree can start careers in marketing. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, professionals in this field who advance into management can earn average annual salaries of $108,580.
