The degree will incorporate studies from finance, management, strategy, marketing, media psychology and human resources. Personal Communication With Students College officials said that the university is committed to keeping class sizes small and are taught by professionals in the field of study at hand. Furthermore, they emphasize the importance of personal communication with each student. Courses are designed to equip students with strategies and tactics that are geared toward global markets. “The MBA program allows students considerable freedom with respect to the number of courses taken during any academic year and is designed to recognize the demanding combination of work, school and personal life,” said Andrew Sangster, chair of business and organizational development programs for the school. The university is now taking applications for the spring semester, which will start in January. According to a 2009 report by the Sloan Consortium, nearly 4.6 million students were taking at least online course during the 2008 fall semester. Furthermore, online enrollment increased by 17 percent from the previous year.
