January 24, 2011 | Adam Sorensen | Leave a comment North Carolina State's Poole College of Management recently announced that it is now accepting applications for its new online MBA program. Officials said that classes will begin in the fall and that the program can be completed in two years. They noted that the online curriculum follows the same academic requirements as the traditional version. “The Jenkins Online MBA program will teach skills in technology, supply chain, marketing and finance, all in an online format, but all hands-on with ample team work, group work and online discussions,” said Steve Allen, associate dean for graduate programs at the school. The program is designed for working professionals, military service members, international students as well as stay-at-home mothers and fathers. Officials said that, through their school distance education and learning technology partners, they will be able to deliver the course content through podcasts linked with PowerPoint, streaming video files and online discussion boards. The online MBA program -which consists of 45 credit hours- will cost $30,600 for in-state students and $58,230 for out-of-state enrollees.
