The online school will offer graduate certificates in applied project management, advanced project management, college teaching and learning, enrollment management as well as institutional marketing and professional development. Both project management certificates will allow students to apply credits toward the school's online masters degree program. These programs prepare students for the Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional certification exam. The graduate certificate in enrollment management and institutional marketing helps students learn how to use advertising tactics to promote higher education institutions. Credits that are earned through this program can be applied to the school's masters degree in higher education. The professional development certificate is designed to help educators further hone their skills in collaborating, facilitating, coaching and mentoring as well as create a positive professional development experience for teachers. According to the 2010 Sloan Survey of Online Learning, nearly 75 percent of higher learning institutions report that the economic downturn has increased the demand for online courses and programs.
