Stevens Institute of Technology unveils its first masters of arts degree programStevens Institute of Technology recently announced that it will offer its first masters degree program in the school's 140-year history.

Officials said that the institution's master's in technology, policy and ethics track will be offered on-campus as well as online through the school's WebCampus.

The program is designed to give students the knowledge that is necessary to address the challenges of the global market. Furthermore,enrollees will cover topics in humanities, social sciences and management,which will entail ethical and decision-making aspects of technological innovation.

"This is a very exciting moment for both the history of Stevens and the growth of College of Arts and Letters as we address the pressing need to consider the consequences of technological advancement on industry, society, and humanity," said Lisa M. Students can also enroll in a 12-credit graduate certificate in technology, policy and ethics, which is designed to supplement their current course of study. Credits that are earned through this track can then be applied to the full masters program.
