CSU joined the Georgia WebMBA consortium about two years ago to deliver an accelerated degree with the same quality and service offered on campus. CSU’s Turner College is also accredited by the AACSB, a distinction earned by only 27 percent of the nation’s business schools. “We are pleased to see that an independent company is recognizing the quality that we long knew we were delivering in this program,” said Linda Hadley, dean of CSU’s Turner College of Business and Computer Science. “The WebMBA offers a high quality, internationally accredited program at a tremendous value.” The MBA is an advanced general-purpose management degree that prepares students for administrative positions in business, industry or government. The WebMBA curriculum places an emphasis on global business, human behavior, organizations, accounting, operations, marketing, finance, management information systems, and the impact these topics make on managerial decision-making. The program focuses on the practical application of these tools, techniques and concepts. It also stresses teamwork, focusing on applying knowledge and skills in real business settings through team-based learning. The team and cohort-based courses are designed to help students who work full-time discover that cohort-based courses are beneficial in helping them learn from one another while providing a support network. The program opens three cohorts in fall and spring with students taking two courses each semester for five consecutive semesters. Find out more here.
